BEND IN THE RIVER

Bend In The River has been performing at local venues and New England Bluegrass Festivals since 2016. The combination of the sibling harmony of Clara and Evan Guilmette, with Clara’s crisp rolling banjo, Evan’s rhythm guitar, and the solid bass of Dave Casali will make audiences want to stop and listen to this dynamic trio. Listeners will be treated to the sounds of both traditional and new bluegrass music. In April of 2019, they recorded their first CD titled, Road Trip Recordings. Clara is currently attending Central Connecticut State University where she is studying Music Education. In 2020, she was a recipient of the IBMA, Sally Ann Forester Scholarship. Evan is attending Portland High School and is involved in both the school’s concert band and concert choir. In 2020, he was selected to be the guitar player in the Southern Regional Music Festival’s Jazz Band. Audiences are never disappointed after attending a Bend In The River show!
