This coming August, the Podunk Bluegrass Music Festival will celebrate its 26th year with one of its most outstanding line-ups to date. The festival is always held the 2nd full weekend in August.
Podunk Bluegrass Music Festival Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. All contributions, less benefits of a certain value, are fully tax-deductible in accordance with the law (Tax ID #06-1457866).
Thursday join us for the first day of bluegrass music featuring the Telefunken Band Competition. The festival kicks into high gear on Friday and Saturday, with great bluegrass music on our Main stage concluding on Sunday starting with our Gospel show, and the best Regional acts and workshops on our Housatonic and Litchfield stages all weekend long.
What Else Is Happening?
There is camping available on site, with or without hookups, or you can purchase a day ticket. There will be a series of free workshops, traditional crafts, jam sessions, and a great variety of food and drink available. We also will offer a children’s activity area and a kids academy.
Plenty of Field Picking
Bring your instrument and join in at the camping grounds for some good old fashion picking! Plenty of chances to play into the wee hours!
Rules and Regulations
YOU MUST WEAR YOUR WRISTBAND AT ALL TIMES.
Chairs may be placed at the main stage for the weekend beginning Thursday at 10 AM. Chairs placed in the shade tent must be removed each night.
Tents and Umbrellas are restricted to the rear of the concert area.
No selling except by approved vendors.
Cars must be parked in designated areas.
No bicycle riding or wagons in the concert area or on the midway. No bicycle riding after dark.
No overnight parking in the parking lot is allowed. Cars will be towed.
Parents/Guardians must be responsible for children at all times.
ABSOLUTELY no fires other than charcoal grills for cooking.
Sorry , we no longer allow dogs.
