SLEEPY HOLLOW STRING BAND

From the hills of Westchester county, NY comes a bluegrass band with the gates open wide blending stylistic influences from multiple genres ranging from rockabilly country to bluegrass and old time. The Sleepy Hollow String Band has a high energy sound with an emphasis on harmony singing. Mike Burns and Connie McCardle bring their amazing song collection covering such artists as Ricky Skaggs , Gram Parsons, Marty Stuart, Tim O’Brien, The Louvin Brothers, to name a few, as well as original songs written by Mike and Connie. Founded in 2006, the band has performed in numerous coffee shops, local libraries, private parties and music festivals including the Clearwater festival.
Mike Burns (lead guitar, vocals), Connie McCardle ( rhythm guitar, vocals), Dick Neal (banjo), Ethan Kende (upright bass) and frequently sitting in, Mike Sassano on mandolin, Ryan Drickey on fiddle.
