NEW FOR 2018
The Best in Regional Talent!
We are making Podunk Better than ever. We have reformatted our third stage this year so we can offer more music for our Bluegrass fans.
While our award winning Bluegrass festival is running on the main stage, the Showcase Stage will feature musicians and bands from Connecticut and the surrounding area.
Starting with an open mic and jam on Thursday evening and ending with our Cajun/Zydeco dance on Saturday evening, the Showcase Stage will be packed with great acts in between. We promise the place will be hopping!
The stage is located on a nice grassy area close to the main entrance, with plenty of room for camping close by.
Hosted This Year By The Zolla Boys
Since the 1930s, brother harmonies have been a vital ingredient in the traditional sound of bluegrass and mountain music. The Zolla Boys carry on that tradition. Whether playing original tunes, classic duets, folk/country ballads, or driving ‘grass, the heart of their performance is that distinct brother harmony.
The Boys are brothers, Ben (guitar) and Sam (mandolin), along with their dad, Larry Zolla (bass) and Andy Reisser (banjo). Based out of Northwest Connecticut, they perform throughout the Northeast and have been featured on award winning festival stages including the Grey Fox Emerging Artist Showcase and the Joe Val Bluegrass Festival and have performed live on the Woodsongs Old-Time Radio Hour.
SATURDAY NIGHT CAJUN/ZYECO DANCE WITH
THE SQUEEZEBOX STOMPERS
Listening to the Squeezebox Stompers is like taking a walk through the streets of the French Quarter. The Stompers keep the dance floor busy with their trademark Louisiana sound injected into every genre from Cajun, Zydeco, Blues, to country. They are a refreshing change of pace in New England, a long way from the warm Bourbon Street vibe they lovingly conjure with every performance.
